Responsible for direction and assignments for three editorial staff members; travel assignments; and correspondent budgeting and assignments. Manage business content and advertising plans for company web site (poultryandeggnews.com). Manage pre-press and printing production of all publications and supervise graphic artist. Oversee booth display and marketing materials design for trade shows and manage staff assignments during such events.

Responsible for creation and upkeep of web site for consulting firm. Pages also include information on two associations managed by THG.

Communication Specialist/Communication Coordinator

Responsible for support to the Communication Manager on the management and activities of implementing brand communication plans for more than a dozen of the company’s agricultural equipment brands. Assist the Media Manager with buying and coordination of brand co-op ad campaigns. Write and disseminate news releases; work with creative department and Communication Manager planning ad materials and product literature; work on the production and publication of respective brand magazines.

POULTRY & EGG NEWS INC. -- September 1995 to July 1997 

Production Coordinator

Responsible for page layout, design and copy editing of two of the company's three publications, Poultry Times and Poultry & Egg Marketing. Cover material for the People page of both publications (recognizes industry leaders and new hires) and feature articles.

Responsible for typesetting, editing, feature writing and general editorial activities of this bimonthly trade publication. Light advertising responsibilities such as advertising design, insertion verification, etc.

NHR PARTNERS -- May to August 1995  

Medical Editor

Edited objective second opinion medical evaluations. NHR Partners acts as a liaison between insurance agencies and those performing the above evaluations. Other responsibilities included transcription downloading and other electronic submissions.

ATLANTA JOURNAL/CONSTITUTION -- April 1995 

Newspaper Layout - Part-time basis

Responsible for advertising layout/placement for sections including Gwinnett Extra. Heavy involvement with press managers.
